Personal Hockey CoachesChad Wisneski, Head coach, General Manger Chad is a native of Dryden Ontario, Canada and has been playing hockey since the early age of three. Chad attended University of Manitoba and uses his management experience to run the day-to-day operations at Puckmasters Lake Bluff. He also steps out from behind the front office to hit the ice to teach a lesson when called upon. Drew Heredia, personal coach Our local talent; Drew Heredia has played hockey in Lake county since the his days of ‘mite’ hockey. After playing for the Lake County Atoms Midget Major squad, Drew continued his playing carrier for the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana. His team place first in Nationals last year and second this year. Drew earned the distinguished “Rookie of the year” last season and continues his climb as a power forward. Michael Polenzani, Goalie Coach Michael brings his passion for goaltending to Puckmasters as our premier Goalie Coach. With over 20 years playing experience and 7 years coaching experience, he has the teaching ability and knowledge to provide the high quality one-on-one coaching that goaltending demands. Michael currently holds a level III coaching certification from USA Hockey. C.J Koroll, personal coach Born and raised in Chicago, CJ has been playing hockey since the age of two. He has had the kind of upbringing that some could only dream of in hockey. Attending every game to watch his dad, the legendary Cliff Koroll, play at the old Chicago Stadium. C.J. has played up to Division III Junior A at Marion College and actively plays in men’s leagues. Derek Hay, personal coach Derek’s hockey carrier covers many areas. From Robert Morris College to more recently Eastern Illinois’s Div III club squad. Derek’s explosiveness on the ice makes him a threat to all defensemen. Wes Smith, personal coach New to the Puckmasters staff for 2006: Wes is a solid defenseman currently playing for Lake County Atoms Midget Major squad. Wes is partnered up with Drew Sarver on the point and together they make an unstoppable combo. Scott Elliot, personal coach A native of Norada Quebec Canada, Scott took the game of hockey from the age of two. Ever since then he has not looked back and played up to Tier II Junior A in Milton, Ontario, Canada. Scott has coached all levels of minor hockey, high school and up to Junior ‘A’. Doug Bair, Goalie Coach A native of the Lake County area, Doug is currently goaltending for Northern Illinois’s Division III team. Doug’s agility on the ice and impeccable form challenge all shooters in their tracks. Bill Pinel, personal coach Bill hales from Orange County, California. He currently plays for Lake Forest Academy. He recently played for the California Wave (Midget AAA) and will be heading off in the fall to play Division I NCAA hockey for Holy Cross in MA. Bill plays defense and has a rocket of a slap shot from the point. Kevin Muller, personal coach [New] New to the Puckmasters staff in 2007. Kevin has played AAA hockey for the Pettit National Selects (now Jr. Admirals) and Madison Capitols, Minnesota HS Hockey in Warroad, MN and two seasons for Bethel College in St. Paul, MN. He is also entering his 6th season coaching for the Kenosha Komets High School Varsity team.
