Puckmasters has carefully chosen the following 6 resorts to give you the opportunity to choose the level of accommodations that fits your needs/budget. Each family is responsible for making necessary reservations at each lodge. For your convenience, we have included web site and contact information for you to make your reservations. Puckmasters will be handling all transportation between the lodges and rink during the week.
Q. "Am I limited to staying at the resorts listed above"?
A. Absolutely not, Puckmasters has chosen these resorts to arrange pick up and drop off of players to and from Dryden. If you choose other resort attractions in the area, you will be responsible for transportation to the rink in Dryden or the bus pick up points. Dryden, Ontario
Located within an easy one days drive of most Mid-western U.S. cities, Puckmasters Hockey Camp offers the best in remote wilderness, as well as modern conveniences. You can drive or fly to the resort your choice.
Driving out of mid-western cities, north to International Falls, MN., we are only three hours North of the border into Canada. Paved roads will lead you right to your resorts front door, with only the last few miles into the resorts being a well maintained gravel road. |

Road Construction Update:Click here for road conditions on Ontario Hwys.
Most travelers from the mid-west will pick-up Hwy 94 and head towards Minneapolis. At Eau Claire Wisconsin you can choose to turn north on Hwy 53, which will take you straight to the Border, or you may continue on to Minneapolis. There are some advantages to using the Interstate, then traveling north on hwy 35 route around the Twin Cities. Four lane travel, 65+ MPH and bypassing Duluth may be worthwhile. The 53 route is shorter, slower, and passes through small towns. But, this has always been a favorite route to International Falls. Recent construction on 53 has seen an increase in the amount of 4-lane hwy and an increase in the speed limit.
One problem that may occur is a line up at the bridge to cross into Canada. There is no trick to missing the rush hour on Saturdays. A recently completed Canada Customs station has improved speed and opened up new lanes of traffic. To really avoid the any delays, many travelers cross into Canada Friday, enjoy a relaxing morning, and then arrive after 2 PM to check-in. Occasionally overnight space is available at Stanley's Resort. Call us Friday afternoon at 1-800-461-1444 and ask. If not, here are some Ontario motels:
