The following program consists of full team training at Puckmasters to be facilitated by Puckmasters coaching staff.  Puckmasters has the ability to train full size teams separated into small groups throughout the facility for maximum skill development.  Each group will be placed into stations to begin.  Groups will be determined by the head coach consisting of 8-10 players.  Goalies are welcome to attend for the duration in large rink (Rink #1).  Total training time is set for 1 hour 30 minutes with a 5 minute buffer for water breaks, station changes and post training game play.   The result is a fast paced, small group instruction with a fun environment to train at a cost effective rate.
Stations are as follows:

Station #1 Dryland Area (30 min)

• Plyometrics and strength conditioning
• Players will be instructed how to use each workout station properly and effectively 

Station #2 ProSpeed™ Ice Rink (1 hour)

• Each on ice session will be facilitated on the large rink surface (Rink #1) for specific skill instruction by Puckmasters coach
• Group sizes will be 5-14 players on ice at one time.

SHOOTING SIMULATOR

Puckmasters is very excited to add new technology to its training curriculum this spring. Right off the floor from the hockey hall of fame in Canada comes the most amazing technology to help improve each shooter gain the edge needed to score more goals. Players use real hockey pucks to test their skill against real-life goaltenders. The cool, lightning fast movements, combined with the extraordinary special effects make RealHockey™ a first class simulation.

TRUE SHOOTER VS. GOALTENDER SIMULATION:

The player/user is the shooter in a one-on-one scenario against the goaltender. The shooter shoots on a "live" goaltender. The object of this hockey simulation is to score as many goals on in the session as possible. The more accurate and higher the velocity of the shot, the more likely the player/user is to score.

REAL SIZE NET AND GOALTENDER:

The projected image size of both the hockey simulator goaltender and the goaltender's net are real size. That is, the hockey simulator net measures six feet long by four feet high. As well the hockey simulator goaltender is real size and appears just as he would if they were standing in front of you on a hockey rink. This sets the stage for real shooting practice.

The following package includes a complete digital video analysis for each player on your team.  This state of the art Olympic video training system captures each player’s movements digitally for on-the-spot analysis or review at through computer/internet afterwards.  After Puckmasters records 4-5 unique skills on video, each player takes home a CD Rom with their video clips including an interactive analysis from Puckmasters coaching staff.   The process is very interactive, entertaining, and educational for all that participate.  This technology ultimately combines NHL caliber instruction with 21st century technology to players of all ages and skill sets.  Not to mention the great added value to all parents and students to review and compare season-to-season improvements in technique and skill. 
Additionally, your hockey coaches will have access to all of their player’s videos for long-term training purposes.   Digital video’s can be taken while a practice or skills night is in session to ensure that valuable ice time is maximized.

Set up:  Puckmasters comes to your rink and sets up 10 laser systems throughout the rink to evaluate 10 core skills for each player.  Timing is quick and players and goalies perform specific drills through the laser guided gates.  Times are recorded and uploaded to the internet database

Skills:   Skating 10 -100 ft forwards / backwards, cross over’s left/right, tight turns left/right, Quick feet , stick-handling and much more

Timing: It takes 50 minutes to fully evaluate a team’s player and goalies performance

Frequency:  Puckmasters recommends that travel hockey clubs be evaluated three times a year to retest each players development throughout the season;  (during conditioning, Xmas holidays and spring)

Turnaround time:  Have results posted within 24 hours of skills testing and as fast as 1 hour to the internet!
